Water Utilities
- Existing Lines - If a lot has existing water and wastewater connections underground, there is no fee for hookup to the main lines unless a licensed plumber is needed for special projects or in accordance with details in any Town ordinance.
- Empty Lots - If a lot or land is purchased and does not have existing lines ran underground there is a $1,500 fee paid by the owner of the property for lines to be hooked onto the main lines of the town.
- Resumption of Service - In accordinace with Ordinance 2015-01; After the water has been turned off by the Town of Broadus for nonpayment for the utility bill, the water will not be turned on anywhere in the Town for that consumer until the consumer has paid the utility bill, together with the actual ost of resuming service, or a minimum of $50.00.
